Main duties performed:

Technical support to clients on the Full GeoVision product range hardware and software.

Building of new DVR’s/NVR’s and VMS (Video recorders) mainly IP as well as Control room systems with pre configurations – all PC based.

Fault finding on GeoVision hardware and software on systems clients brought that is in for repair.

Telephone Support, support to clients on the GeoVision range products hardware and software.

Team Viewer Support assisting client with setup and fault finding on GeoVision Systems.

Keep support database up to date with the latest drivers and software from GeoVision Taiwan.

Simulate problems off site to see if the same problem is experienced as the the client is experiencing

Liaise with GeoVision Taiwan RND for support issues that cannot be solved in-house.

Configure a full IP network PC’s, Cameras recorders/DVR/NVR/VMS.

Systems, Routers, and configuring a network before delivery of a solution

including IP Cameras.

Setup and fault finding of IP cameras, Fisheye cameras, Domes and IP devices.

Do quotes on repairs to be done.

Set up of embedded NVR – add hard drives.

Set up and configure mass storage systems of 40, 60 and 100TB units.

Pre-configure all equipment to be ready for installation.

Do final on-site set up and checks before installers do the hand-over.

Support to the biggest installations, for example – Pick N Pay Warehouse of 90+ cameras.

Set-up and configure POS on NVR and POS.

Wi-Fi set-up access point and client for installers.

I have installed LPR systems at all the toll roads around Gauteng for BACSA, SAPS and CICB.
