Description:

BPS (Buyer Payment Service) is a consolidated hub where domestic and International Trading Partners (Buyer, Supplier and W.C. Bank) can set up, view, review and store information relating to EIPS business they conduct with their respective customers. This is basically a future-scope project, related to “Secure Transaction” between Buyer and Supplier through “P-Card”. P-Card is a special virtual card introduced by WCB provided only to corporate customers and there is no limit for this card. In this application only registered organization in BPS database can avail the P-Card. Here Buyer invites different supplier for enrollment, only after successfully enrollment of supplier transaction can take place. BPS basically a J2EE based application running on WAS v5.2 platform. In backend Oracle 10g is used for data manipulation and Informatica v8.5 is used to handle the different file formats supported by this application.

Responsibilities:

I have been extensively involved in Oracle PL/SQL programming to create Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions etc.

I have created Sequences, Synonyms and Views using Complex SQL Queries.

Writing Complex queries Using joins and sub queries in stored procedures and use cursor, ref Cursors.

Involved in modifying existing PL/SQL Procedures, and Packages while fixing bugs opened by QA.

Description:

Role & Responsibilities:

Worked on SQL* Loader to load all the data given in flat files with various special characters and comma delimiters.

Worked on the development of Interfaces, Data Conversions, Developing new Forms, Reports, Customizing Oracle Reports in Procure to Pay Cycles touching various modules such as AR, PO and AP.

Developed and Customized PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions for validating the invoices and payment information from the legacy system and imported into Oracle Application using the Payables Open Interface Import program,Credit Card Transaction Interface and populated into the Base Tables, which involved in Releasing Invoices from Hold, Approval of invoices and creating of New Invoices
