Cyber War Scenario Application

Capstone for Cyber Security course Fall 2017

Designed and implemented a cyber war training simulation application for students using Java, JavaFX, FXML, and Bash Scripts.

Using Virtual Machines, students can test exploits without damaging the host computer as well as take snapshots to return to an unbroken state in the event of a critical error.

Created the structure for a future implementation of web server exploits and Linux command line tutorials.

MonitOR Project

Intern for SURE fellowship Summer 2017

One of eleven students chosen for the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience fellowship.

This project took information from Raspberry Pi sensors connected to operating room doors at Cabell Huntington Hospital to find a correlation between infection rates and door activity.

Created an Arduino quality assurance device from servo motors that tested the prolonged operation of multiple Raspberry Pi sensors.

Redesigned the web server’s ability to assure data delivery during outages.

ROCSAT-X 2017 Project

Assistant for MU SPACE Spring 2017

In conjunction with NASA, a camera attached to a Raspberry Pi would launch outside of earth’s atmosphere taking and storing photos of star constellations.

Reconfigured the Raspbian OS on the Raspberry pi to communicate with the attached camera and troubleshot issues regarding compatibility with the Astrometry software.

Directed the Astrometry software to take data from the image captured and configure the calculated direction where the payload is pointed.
