I have been staffing/scheduling supervisor/manager for automotive industry for 8 yrs. I have dealt with multiple management responsibilities when dealing with HR and billing issues

Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.

Create, maintain, and enter information into databases.

Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange repairs when equipment malfunctions.

Complete forms in accordance with company procedures.

Write work instructions or operation standards and confirm team conformance to the job set up and communicate criteria to the Customer Service and/or Training Departments.

Maintain scheduling and event calendars.

Staffing and accurately train and distribute manpower and billing to each department.

Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, other records and reports to determine production requirements and evaluate current production estimates and outputs.

Maintain operations data, such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of production results.

Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.

Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.

Recommend or execute personnel actions, such as evaluation and work with Humane Resources to document and address progressive discipline issues.

Report, identify, investigate and correct any non-conformances to the appropriate department.

Serve as Interim actions job leader when Project Supervisor is unavailable.

Lead work of team members.

Ensure all team members arrive to job area on time.
