Have a more than 2.5 years of extensive experience as Quality Control on City Level Road Project in the field of material Testing Laboratory. Have extensively been involved in Quality Control works during construction of Earthwork, G.S.B and W.M.M, D.B.M, BC and Concrete works as per MORT&H Specification.

The brief explanation about my experience is as follows:

Testing of Soil:

Grain Size Analysis, Plasticity index, Modified proctor Compaction test for MDD & OMC, Free Swelling Index, CBR value in 96 hrs soaked condition, Moisture content determination and Field Dry Density test by Sand Replacement method for Earthworks.

Testing of GSB And WMM:

Gradation, Plasticity Index, Modified proctor test, Flakiness Elongation, Aggregate Impact Value, Water absorption, Ten percent fines value, Los-Angeles Abrasion Test, CBR test, Field density test by Sand Replacement method.

Testing of Bitumen:

Specific Gravity, Penetration, Softening Point, Ductility Test & Viscosity as per Indian Standard Code.

Testing of Aggregates:

Aggregate Impact Value, Water absorption of Aggregate, Flakiness & Elongation and Specific gravity. Carry out various type of trial Mix Design of various Grades of Concrete used in Construction works as per MORT&H Specification.

Testing of Cement:

Testing of cement like Fineness, Consistency, Setting Time, Soundness and Compressive Strength of Cement as per IS Specification.

Handling of laboratory Equipments:

Compressive Testing Machine, CBR Testing Machine, Casagranda Apparatus, Static Cone Penetrometer, Dynamic cone penetration, RMM, Bitumen Extractor, Marshal Stability Apparatus &other Lab Equipments.

Responsibilities

Preparation of all types of test reports with respect to the relevant Bureau of Indian Standard.

To carry out all types of laboratory testing for Soil, aggregate, cement concrete work by required frequency as per MORT&H Specification.

Maintain records for each section of the works on a layer by layer basis.

Sampling and testing of Soil, GSB, and WMM etc.

Preparation of Monthly Progress reports.

Preparation of Bar Charts.

Calibration of WMM Plant.

Calibration of Rapid Moisture Meter.

Calibration of Sand pouring Cylinder.

Responsible for testing of Coarse, Fine aggregate, Cement, and Boulder etc and reporting as per relevant IS codes and MORT&H Specification.
