Same identical business as previous employer (Tal-Mar I have drawings available upon request) Tal-Mar Custom Metal

This is the same group of people that were involved when Peerless Metal was in business...This was a NEW start up company when they dissolved in February of 1998...I’ve had some awesome experiences throughout my career there...one thing that I am most proud of is the design and detailing and fabrication of the Navy Piers 4 new ADA aluminum boat ramps for the Odyssey the Mystic Blue the Spirit and the Elite...designed their 18 new aluminum benches... the 60 steel bike racks...84 some odd tree grate infill’s along with some miscellaneous handrails that they needed...it was probably the most satisfying experience over the course of 2 solid years working there... (I have drawings available upon request) Industrial Kinetics

From concept to final acceptance, I’ve comprised schedules that indicated milestones from start to the finish of each key element, ie: submittals for approval, design/electrical/software, engineering, procurement, installation, etc. As a project manager, I worked with the individual managers within, to assure adequate allocation of department resources to the project. I communicated to all involved to guarantee continuity throughout the life of the contract, including an implementation of compatible plans and programs by all suppliers. My experience included the Defense Logistics Installation at the Red River Army Depot and at the Atlantic Fleet facility at the Norfolk Naval Base, handling the multi million dollar projects there... Berkley Wrapping Machinery

During a Peerless Metal restructuring time in 1983 and for a one year stretch, I was loaned out to this company via one of the owners of the company. I did all the candy wrapping machinery drawings metrically for them. This included new designs and documenting actual machinery that we were rebuilding...field visits often occurred I have hand drawings available upon request)

Hohberger Manufacturing

I had 3 engineers in my department. This was my client when I was in Sales while at Peerless. The work that was produced was primarily in the SS metal field for the confectionery, baking, and cereal industry. I produced CADKEY detail, sub assy, general arrangement and final assembly drawings, including BOM's right down to the last nut and bolt, P & ID (process & instrumentation drawings), have written narratives of sequence of operation and extensive final operational manuals, that included all the vendor specs & recommended spare parts and our sub assembly drawings. (I have drawings available upon request) Peerless Metal 3 times

Designed, detailed all sub assembly and final assembly drawings of anything from complete conveyor systems, Michigan Avenue Store signage "CHICAGO PLACE”, “TY” (beanie babies) headquarters spiral staircase...Grew to learn pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical drives, horsepower’s, gearing, sprockets, bearings, OSHA guarding, decks, platforms, stairs etc., Have done some robotic pick-in-place machinery, afterburner systems for the printing industry (RR Donnelley), meat slicers for the food industry and confectionery equipment. Work exclusively with CADKEY including on my own...I have extensive experiences in the "field" including responding to and interfacing with customer needs on a “one on one” basis (due to times when the salesman wasn't always available.) This would include taking field dimensions and defining scopes of work, etc. (I have drawings available upon request) Bloomer Fiske Inc

We would take customers assembly drawings and then break them down into sub assemblies and detail drawings

/ sketches, including the actual flat pattern detail layout drawings, some to scale, but mostly all were hand sketches. We would show hole locations, notches, bend positions etc. and then dimensioned accordingly for shop fabrication use...Responsibilities included making bend layout details in order to form parts on press brakes according to intricacies of part. We learned the structural steel end of the business, including the rolling of items the hard way, E-Z way, etc. coping and double coping of angle iron, channel, and beam type frameworks. Also learned the capabilities and limitations of fabricating machinery and found this experience at Bloomer to be invaluable... (I have hand drawings available upon request) Personal References upon Request...
