Summary

During my time at BYU-I and the job experiences that allowed me to fund it, I have accrued much experience, ranging from being a paraprofessional to assisting in the billing department of a $5 million company. I am passionate about learning and new experiences as well as focusing getting the job done correctly.

Experience

Paraprofessional

January 2018 - April 2018 (4 months)

As a paraprofessional I would help adults with a mental age under 10 assimilate themselves into the community.

July 2016 - December 2016 (6 months)

This was an internship for my Business Management Major. I was one of two people in accounts receivable where we collected $6,000,000 annually from a wide variety of customers ranging from Hospitals and Nursing homes to individual customers. Upon starting there I was instrumental in using vba in excel to so that our two day billing process and became a two hour billing process. Customer Loyalty Manager at Vivint Smart Home

September 2015 - December 2015 (4 months)

As a customer loyalty manager, it was my job to manage people's accounts and help them in any way that they needed, which also included retention. Interviewer at Bernett Research

January 2015 - September 2015 (9 months)

Associate

May 2013 - July 2014 (1 year 3 months)

I was hired as a cashier, but they quickly began to trust me and depend on my skills, flexibility and hard work. I do what needs to be done whether it is helping out in the electronics department, taking care of customers at customer service and the money center, helping in the back with inventory, or being a cashier. Quite often they ask me to translate back in electronics or when there is a problem in the front end. Most nights that I am there they also ask me to help pull the registers. I have had hundreds of thousands of dollars go through my hands as I have helped in this aspect. Missionary

April 2011 - April 2013 (2 years 1 month)

As a missionary I would get up at 6:30 in the morning, study for three hours, and then spend the next 10 hours proselyting. We adhered to a strict schedule, and would finish our nights planning for the next day. I was also given leadership opportunities where I would teach and train missionaries, both new and experienced.

Employee

August 2008 - September 2010 (2 years 2 months)

As an employee, I would take, make orders while demonstrating great customer service. I would also clean and help close up at nights.
