Applied personal algorithms to exchange traded products at Hehmeyer Trading and Investments, O’Grady Trading LLC, Iowa Grain Company and Bell Trading. Models focused on short-term positions and arbitrage trades at the CME and ICE markets. Given market conditions, returns increased with model enhancements. Upgrades in software and hardware delivered execution improvement.
Co- owner of O’Grady Trading LLC where programmer developed software to meet personal design specifications for arbitrage trades. The software obtained direct market access to CME and ICE exchanges delivering a high-frequency advantage. Partner provided capital for preferred exchange rates and margin for a split of profit.
At Iowa Grain and Bell Trading managed up to 40 proprietary traders with strategies specialized in the agricultural and energy commodity markets. Trading strategies were daily, technical trades. Trading Technologies was the trading software engaged in the electronic markets. Profits increased approximately 50% with personal arbitrage models, exchange volume incentive programs and educating traders in technical trading techniques.
POWER ENERGY PARTNERS LLC, Chicago, IL 2009-2015
Co-Founder / Owner - Started PEP LLC, a crude oil marketing company,purchased North Dakota crude oil and transported via railcars to U.S. refineries. Originated idea and formed LLC with partner and obtained investors. Funded and managed PEP LLC which included sales, logistics and operations. Obtained railcar leases and trucking companies. Purchased North Dakota crude and sold to refineries mainly on East Coast for best margins. Operations processed sales receipts, interpreted tax laws and maintained contracts.

Director - Managed PSEG power generation portfolio for fuel supplyand hedges.Supervised traders and coordinated overall risk in their oil and natural gas positions. Repositioned existing natural gas option book which improved results50%. EXELON GENERATION, POWER TEAM, Kennett Square, PA 2002 – 2004
Senior Trader - Power Team was the risk and hedge trading arm for Exelon Generation. Researched, executed and managed positions in the energy markets for the risk trading group. Energy products structured in the strategies included forwards, futures and options in power, natural gas and crude products. Recommended and built strategies for the hedge group.

Manager/ Senior Trader - Managed power trading desk that concentrated on the electricity and natural gas forward curves resulted in over $40 million profit for risk group. Option market maker for OTC power curves primarily in the Cinergy and PJM West hubs. Market maker forward power curves supporting Trade Spark partner at the time. Created hedge program for assets using energy options.Introduced and developed a real time risk analytic tool for the entire trade group. Credit Suisse First Boston, Vice President – Formulated and Executed NY Proprietary desk trades and managed Treasury Option desk.
