Maintenance of Turbine and generators. Work at Majuba, Tutuka, Kriel, Kendal, Hendrina, Koeberg Nuclear Power Station and others. My experience includes disassembly, refurbishment, inspection and assembly. This includes ESV, gorvenor, bypass and other valves. Worked on HP, IP, LP, generator, excitor, coolers, bearing scraping, valves lapping and blueing concentrating on centre line. Assembly of rotor, axillary equipment, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics and accumulators, fan blowers, conveyors, bucket elevators. Use of the following machines Lathe, milling, slotter, surface grinder, sharper, grinders and use of precision measuring tools.
