BSS Parameter Consistency check – Comparing a set of predetermined rules to the current parameter configuration in order to identify issues that could cause performance problems, as well as identify deviations from standard parameter.

Capacity Optimization – To ensure that performance degradation caused by a lack of resources are minimized. Some key checks are: Congestion, Blocking. To minimize them SDCCH dimensioning, expansions, new site, trx. Additions, Hr traffic optimization.

Neighboring Cell Optimization – To add all necessary neighbors ensuring correct definitions in BSC/MSC. Neighbors additions/removal are based on HO reports, NCS recordings.

Cell Based Optimization – Daily worst cell analysis on basis of BBH/NBH reports generated through BO. List of bad performing cells on basis of call drop (SD/TCH), handover failures, and handover reversions is generated and solution is identified / implemented. Proper RF quality is maintained by regular monitoring of quality, SQI, SD drops and TCH drops.

Customer Complaints – Analysis of customer complaints based on GIS data, drive test / physical site check done for same. Solutions are provided based on evaluation of reports and post optimization. Coordinating with sales team to close new town & coverage plan. Some key solution is proposal of IBS, Repeaters, Sites and introduction of 4th Sectors.
