2014 Mar.-Present: Crippen Auto Mall, Parts Manager. Parts Manager of Buick, GMC, Mazda and Volvo. Ensure that departmental employees are currently up to date with factory training and certifications. Hire, train and motivate employees. In charge of day to day business, including but not limited to: Inventory control, inventory obsolescence, daily and weekly parts orders, weekly and monthly specials, quarterly perpetual inventories, collaborating with service managers to increase ease of work flow and ensuring inventory is readily available to utilize same day repair services, which also increases CSI service scores. Utilize factory incentive programs such as RIM. I currently hold all certifications for GM, Mazda and Volvo Parts Manager and counter person. ADP/CDK DMS experience.
2013 July-2014 Mar.: Beck’s Trailer, Director of Parts & Service. Oversee parts and service department. In charge of purchasing parts and accessories for retail store, online store, and e-bay store. Hire, train, motivate and manage parts and service department employees. Scheduling employees and service jobs, as well as budgeting both departments. Wallace operating system experience.
2010 Nov.-2013 July: Used Car Motor Mall of Grand Rapids, Service Director. Oversee the service department that services four automotive dealerships. In charge of nine employees. Hire, train and motivate employees for this department. Manage service sales and parts department. In charge of customer service, with high customer service satisfaction. This is a high volume repair shop that I ran efficiently.
2010 Feb.-2010 Nov.: Kelly Automotive Group, Fixed Operations Manager. Oversee service shop and parts departments. Responsible for monthly service and parts sales forecast. Held weekly meetings with parts and service personnel. In charge of hiring, training and motivating new employees for both departments. Write service orders, service sales and customer relations. Experience with ADP operating system.
2007 Jan.-2010 Feb.: Lansing Mitsubishi, Director of Parts & Service. Oversee the mechanical shop and parts department. Supervise seven employees. Take care of day to day operations and customer service. My CSI scores are high and average per RO is high. I also had the chance to incorporate my business skills which helped profitability and organization within these departments. Experience with ASI operating system. 2006 May-2007 Jan.: Sundance Chevrolet, Inventory Control Manager. In charge of inventory inspections and maintenance. Making sure vehicles on the lot were ready for sale and delivery. Stocking cars in and out of inventory. Prepare cars for auction and wholesale. Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds operating system. 1996-May 2006: RPM, Repairs, Parts, and Machine INC., Founder, Owner, Operator & Sales Consultant.
As owner and CEO of RPM, the responsibilities included day to day function of an automotive repairs, machine shop and fabrication business, as well as, coordinator and developer of the rpmracingusa.com website. Also manage retail high performance parts store and parts sales nationwide. Nationwide engine rebuilding and machine shop services. Managed four complete racing teams that traveled the nation. RPM employed thirty plus people in addition to the race teams 1985-1996: H & M Auto Center, INC. Employment started as head mechanic. Within three years, I was an operating partner of H & M. Daily responsibilities included business operations, customer relations, automotive repairs, and management of the service shop and machine shop operations.
