I have Several Medical certifications including Basic life support certification, certification to be a nursing assistant (renewed in 2017) I have taken out 12 lead EKGS and performed labs on patients, I have taken the vitals of patients removed IVS, Took Standard vitals and blood glucose testing and many labs. I have administered medications through Picc lines in addition to administering medications through tube feeds. I also have performed dressing changes on ulcerations and demonstrated sterile procedure with intense wounds.

Personal Everyday experience

In addition to my work in the medical field and being in school I took care of my husband for 19 months during his battle with cholangiocarcinoma, his care involved monitoring his vitals, Glucose and changing and cleaning his bilirubin drain and a flushing. I administered heparin injections daily in addition to administering chemotherapy medication, pain medication bid and monitored his skin for breakdown, discoloration and drainage.
