Leading a team of business analyst and development resources supporting AIG’s HR, Payroll and Benefits systems for a global population of 65,000 employees. As program manager responsible for presenting program status to the HR Executive Leadership Group which includes providing solutions for new HR processes, budget creation and maintenance, consultant (on/off shore) and employee resource staffing and management, escalation and remediation of issues and risks. Major accomplishments and responsibilities include:
Migration of North American population from PeopleSoft Payroll to Workday’s Payroll module: This project resulted in the employee population for US, Canada and Puerto Rico to be migrated from an existing PeopleSoft deployment to Workday Payroll. Leading a team of both in house resources of business analyst, developers and an Implementation partner responsible for configuration of Time, Absence and Payroll from existing population from PeopleSoft and an outside vendor utilized for time tracking to a single Workday platform. Additionally all existing reports and integrations were migrated to Workday leveraging Workday technologies and development tools. This project will result in the sun setting of AIG legacy PeopleSoft instance with the savings maintenance, licensing fees, and hardware cost as well as all payroll, absence and time functions consolidated to a single Workday system.
oManaged the team which reviewed existing inbound/outbound integrations and provided the future state solution in Workday – gathered requirements which ultimately resulted in the solution of integrations built both in Studio code as well as EIB solutions.
oManaged the team responsible for conversion of employee data in PeopleSoft to Workday, which included a team which developed a data validation tool between the legacy system(s) and Workday.
oManaged the team that reviewed existing reports and defined which reports needed custom solutions or could leverage delivered reports
oManaged the team that reviewed existing configuration and provided the configuration for Workday Payroll, Time, Absence and Benefits.
Migration of UK population to Workday Payroll: Led an effort to migrate the UK population from an outsourced payroll provider to Workday payroll on the AIG owned Workday tenant. Coordinated efforts between in house staff as well as an implementation partner for the conversion of existing data to Workday as well as the configuration of Time, Absence and Payroll
Migration of North American population from PeopleSoft HCM to Workday: This project resulted in the entire AIG population residing on a single HR platform as well as a consolidated reporting system (Workday Inside Analytics). Led a team of business analyst and developers responsible for conversion strategy and approach as well as re-engineering of reports and interfaces to new platforms as appropriate. Provided the HR executive leadership team with weekly overview of project as well as PMO reporting presentations.
Migration of ExPat population to third party payroll provider: Led a team which executed the migration of ex-patriot employees located throughout the world from an in house supported payroll system (PeopleSoft) to an third party provider. Participated in vendor selection process providing insight and recommendations from a technology perspective. Conducted status meeting with HR executive leadership as to project status as well as issue and risk mitigation.
Vendor Management Responsibilities: Participated in RFP and vendor selection for migration of in-house development staff to a third party provider which is utilized for new development projects as well as production support. Experience working with vendor in determining resource needs, evaluating the ratio of on-site/off-shore resource mix as appropriate, reviewing and approving statements of work for projects the vendor is involved in.
Additional vendor management responsibilities include working with Oracle to determine licensing needs, reviewing application stability and roadmaps and negotiating professional service contracts for various projects including a PeopleSoft upgrade to version 9.0 and an EPM upgrade project

Migration of acquired companies to single HR platform: Led a team of business analyst and developers responsible for reviewing HR and Payroll systems for companies that had been acquired and determining a strategy and approach for migrating these populations to the AIG HR/Payroll platform (PeopleSoft). This project resulted in the decommissioning of several independent systems and a significant cost savings.
Responsible for developing SarBox procedures for Corporate Systems: These procedures ensured all modifications moved to production were duly documented throughout all phases of development, testing and move to production cycles.
Responsible for reviewing Business Owners request for service: Partner with technical and functional subject matter experts to identify impact of request and provide estimate as to level of effort required and identify release schedule enhancement will be included with.

Responsible for multiple implementations of AIG acquired companies from legacy systems to HRMS v8.3 and V8.8, including an international employee population as well as a midyear conversion. Met with subject matter experts of legacy systems to define employee population to be converted as well as history requirements and developed conversion approach documentation. Managed gap analysis sessions and created functional/technical specifications based on identified gaps. Assign technical specifications to development team and created test plan to ensure modifications are developed according to requirements. Performed mapping existing data from legacy systems to PeopleSoft and defined criteria to validate the integrity of the conversions. Developed strategy for defining new foundation tables for several companies and plans to migrate values across multiple environments. Managed multiple projects simultaneously related to HR/Payroll Benefits Systems. Created and managed to Microsoft Project project plans. Created and reviewed detailed specifications including business flows created in Visio. Managed client server and Web based versions of Human Resource application. Responsible for managing a project team that varied from 10-30 direct reports and consultants. Managed and maintained relationships with several hardware and software vendors as well as consulting agencies.
Project Manager for PeopleSoft HRMS v8.3 upgrade. Managed staff for PeopleSoft process re-engineering project that included upgrade to Human Resource v8.3 and implementation of Enterprise Portal v8.4. Responsibilities included design and review of all enhancements including infrastructure design related to PeopleSoft’s Internet Architecture Led performance and stress testing phase of the project that included selecting Mercury’s Loadrunner product to produce data for analysis. Managed the effort to design and implement the revised security model based on the application changes. Interfaced with the infrastructure, operations and functional teams on a daily basis. Provided detailed and summary status reports to senior management on a regular basis. Strong experience with and understanding of the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture. PeopleSoft HRMS v7.5 Support. Manager of PeopleSoft Technologies team supporting HRMS v7.5. Managed a staff of nine direct . Reviewed functional requirements for enhancements to v7.5 system and provided technical solution. Responsible for managing full project life cycle of all enhancements. Primary contact for functional and operations teams. Frequently asked to review requirement and provide recommendations for best-of-breed solution. Designed and developed solution to user requirements including modifications required to support Canadian Year End. Hands on experience with all PeopleSoft development tools including SQR, PeopleCode and panel design.
PeopleSoft Product Assessment and Implementation. Managed team of in house employees and consultants for implementation of PeopleSoft v7.5 from mainframe legacy system. Representative of business team responsible for vendor evaluation and final purchase decision. Developed conversion strategy and researched and recommended third party software (SmartDB) purchased to assist in conversion phase. Served as IT lead in fit-gap sessions which identified the need for enhancements to delivered functionality.
