Project Description
Teachers Retirement System of the City of New York is a public pension fund that provides New York City educators with retirement, disability, and death benefits. TRS is currently the second largest New York City pension system.
TRS was using AS400 for their pension system and wanted to migrate to a more robust application with enhanced reporting capabilities. TRS decided to develop an enhanced ASPEN (Agile Straight through Processing PENsion) system and migrate the data to MS SQL Server by utilizing the MS SSIS package.
Data was planned to be migrated from UPS (Old system) to ASPEN in various phases and various forms of migration and bridging.

Responsibilities
Involved in design and development meetings with the design team and the development team.
Extensively used SQL to test the enhancements to the current ETL programs based on the new and changing requirements.
Developed SQL queries on data staging tables and data warehouse tables to validate the data results.

MUFG had its Core Banking System on legacy technology and it was unable to architecturally scale to accommodate the new features and functionality requirements arising with the growing business demands. MUFG decided to modernize the Core Banking System with a centralized platform for Treasury, Loans, and Deposits. The solution is OVS Hybrid+. OVS is the global overseas system of BTMU that has already gone live in European and Asian branches.
OVS was planned to be implemented as the core application of the US Core Banking System in a fully integrated environment e.g., GPP, Loans, Trade360, Oracle G/L, Data Warehouse, Payment Processing, Check Processing, Treasury.
