HR Manager for Faculty Affairs (April 2017 – Present)
Responsible for all HR activities and functions related to the Academic staff & Research Assistants and some general tasks.
Recruitment:
-Post position on available resources for searching CV’s when requested.
-Precede preliminary screening and provide short listed candidates to Deans & Program Directors.
-Complete the hiring cycle and obtain concerned signatures and approvals.
-Issue IT tickets for Phones, Emails and computers devices when needed.
Contracting:
-Issue all kinds of Contracts for Full Time, Part Time, and Visiting Academic Staff.

HR Supervisor (January 2009 – April 2017)
Performs professional and administrative tasks to coordinate, direct and supervise the provision of HR services in such areas as recruitment, Comp. & Ben., corrective actions and disciplinary activities. Carries out assignments in the area of implementing and maintaining the Human Resources Information System, as well as in other HR areas as required.
Compensation & Benefits:
-Design, implement, and manage salary classification and compensation programs and allowances.

Recruitment:
-Review requisitions for employment from departments and refer questions regarding positions’ duties & key qualifications required for the position.
-Conduct preliminary interviews of the candidates, evaluate their skills, complete assessment sheets, and making recommendations regarding their qualifications.
-Administer and score the required aptitude, personality, psychometric and typing tests; and provide feedback to the supervisor.
-Coordinate with the Medical Center the run of pre-employment medical checkups.
-Effectively records employee’s data into the HR database and payroll system.
-Conducts HR inductions.
-For newly hired expatriate staff, prepare necessary forms and letters and conducts liaison with the Customs Dept. for the issuance of security passes, ports passes, and work permits.
Contracting:
Prepare and finalize terms for the employment contracts and obtain signatures of new hires. Maintain and track status of employment contracts, ensuring the amendment of annual contracts based on expiry date and according to established policies and regulations.
HR Information System & Payroll:
-Maintain and update the employee-related data base.
-Process HR actions like new hires, pay increases, promotions, demotions, reassignments, realignments, and transfers.
Performance Appraisal:
-Prepare performance review forms and direct the distribution of forms to supervisors.
-Track performance reviews for timely completion by departments’ heads and follow up on the necessary changes & recommendations.
Weatherford Drilling Integration Project
Sr. Employee Services Coordinator (Feb 2013 – Mar 2014)
I Played a lead role in the integration process between Weatherford Drilling & Weatherford Services in HR & Personnel related processes.
-I was responsible for applying policies & HR rules of Weatherford Services.
-Integrated number of common processes like recruitment, training & termination.
-Administered Medical & Life Insurance and provided support documents for both.
-Developed New Hires Orientation Program to have all info for both companies compiled in one presentation.
