Academic Projects:-

1.Strain Sensor Based on Carbon Nanotube Ink: This project contains a comprehensive utilization of inkjet printing technology, commonly used substrates and electronic materials for preparing strain sensors. A common office work inkjet printer is used for preparing strain sensors. Preparing electrically conductive Carbon Nanotube (CNT) ink was the crucial step and the main objective was to create a strain sensor on a Polyethyleneterphthalate (PET). Additionally a sensor was also made by coating Carbon Nanotube ink by paint brush on a patch of epoxy adhesive made over aluminum specimen. This specimen is then used as a strain sensor. The relative change in electric resistance with respect to applied load was examined and it was found that CNT ink showed the ability to sense the strain with high sensitivity but low stability.

2.Automatic Road Marking Machine: This machine is used for marking the various marks on the road. In this mechanism the spray guns are used to spray the paint which operates on compressed air. The air supply from the compressor is controlled by flow control valve. The valve operation depends on distance sensor. The advantage of this machine is it's low cost.
