- Manage Shipping & Receiving and Purchasing staff of a cake decorating manufacturer with national distribution.

- Coordinate the purchasing of components (ex. cakes, icing, plastic packaging, corrugated cartons, & decorations), maintenance supplies, and office supplies.

- Manage inbound & outbound freight through quarterly freight quoting, advance scheduling of freight, monthly freight company reviews of costs and on time proficiency, and new provider sourcing.

- Organize and conduct monthly facility inventory counts. Through team efforts have successfully reduced monthly inventory losses by over 300% on average.

- Established inventory controls with the development of a new part numbering system, improved inbound product identification / labeling, and daily tracking of miscellaneous inventory usage.
