Submit requisitions for all components and parts to complete assembly of $4 million Coil Tubing Rigs including hydraulic systems and plumbing, mechanical components, 500kw diesel engine generator, trailer chassis air, electrical and numerous other parts. Schedule tasks for work crew of 6- 10 people, supply and interpret hydraulic, electrical and air schematics, over-see final assemblies, and dimensional checks, commission various electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems. Work with engineering and fabrication departments to resolve manufacturing issues. Work with Electrical/Automation departments, customer reps, vendors, supply crew with total project and weekly Gantt charts, and management with various reports, schedules and spreadsheets showing monetary needs and dates for parts acquisition.

I oversaw operations of a Dangerous Goods Code Vacuum Truck Manufacturing Company with 30- 50 employees and first year revenue of $6 million, focusing on increasing production, quality and efficiency. To each truck we added $200,000- $500,000 of value. I spec’d and ordered specialty equipment, negotiated contracts with financial institutions, suppliers and customers. Established safety programs, safe work procedures and training for management and employees.
CEO- Blowertech Ltd. - Edmonton 2001-2015
As founder of Blowertech, I grew the company from a single employee to an ISO 9001 Company with 15- 20 employees and yearly revenues of $3- $4 million. I have been involved in every aspect of Blowertech’s growth as specialists in the repair of rotating equipment for mobile and stationary industrial installations. We specialized in the repair of positive displacement blowers, industrial gearboxes, pumps including sulphur pumps, and centrifuges. We were an approved repair centre for Hayward Gordon pumps and gearboxes, International Cooling Tower, EcoDyne and Hansen gearboxes. We also specialized in the dynamic balancing of rotating assemblies and monitoring of vibration levels in remanufactured equipment. In the first 9 years I was a working supervisor and remanufactured these products while training and overseeing all employees, including scheduling, customer relations, sales, invoicing and safety. I also oversaw the machine shop operations, including machining with both manual and CNC machines including programming, training, scheduling and safety initiatives. I also was responsible for drafting and design of parts and components for customers.
Millwright Manager- Almac Machine Works- Edmonton 1997-2001
Oversee the repair as a working supervisor, balancing and remanufacture of various rotating equipment including positive displacement blowers, cooling tower gearboxes, various industrial gearboxes up to 10,000 lbs., ribbon feeders, centrifuges of various brands and various process pumps. I was responsible for the itemized scope of repair, materials requisitions, and occasional creation of dimensioned drawings to complete repairs, scheduling, training, job profitability, monthly quotas, etc., while maintaining an organized, clean work environment with safety first.
Service Manager- Park Paving- Edmonton 1991-1997
Oversee the fleet of over 150 pieces of construction equipment including; CAT, Hitachi, Volvo, CMI, Wirtgen, John Deere, Komatsu, Gomaco and various other brands of equipment new/used equipment selection and procurement, unscheduled repairs, preventative maintenance schedules, diagnose, analyze, plan and eliminate recurring problems, management of shop and field repair staff, budgets and scheduling for winter season repairs, maintenance of snow removal equipment,, maintenance and repairs of the asphalt plant, soil cement plant and portable cold mix asphalt plant, design, draft and manufacture of specialty equipment, training and reducing down-time, while maintaining a high regard for safety. This was a hands-on position that had me and my staff working numerous overtime hours to ensure equipment was ready for the next day.
Heavy Duty Mechanic- Park Paving- Edmonton 1989-1991
Work up to 80 hours and more per week during the busy season to ensure all equipment is repaired for the following day. I worked on CAT, Hitachi, Volvo, CMI, Wirtgen, John Deere, Komatsu, Gomaco and various other brands of equipment. Repaired electrical, electronics, PLC controllers, hydraulic, hydrostatic drive, gearboxes, engine repairs and overhauls, and various weld repairs including SMAW/GMAW, brazing, and cast iron repair. I worked on winter equipment overhauls during the off-season and snow removal equipment repairs. Always fast paced atmosphere, many hours, and demand for good comprehension/understanding of various machines and mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems.
