Senior Project Manager, Tecniplast USA, 2017-2018. A designer, manufacturer and installer of specialized housing and related equipment for laboratory animals. Responsible for biotech and pharma projects in a nine-state region including five key accounts in Texas. Company recently reorganized and downsized. Key accomplishment:
Completed international “Factory Acceptance Testing” with major customer. Traveled with key account and hosted factory testing and training as well as off hours activities. Supervised installation of equipment at the customer facility as part of major renovation project working with end user and builder. Built strong customer relationship leading to future opportunities.
Senior Project Manager, PROCONEX, 2013-2016. Emerson Local Business Partner (LBP), managing $10M in annual equipment and service projects for oil & gas customers. Manage internal resources along with engineering and fabrication subcontractors to maintain project schedules, quality and profitability. Among contributions:
Completed project for 16 measurement stations, winning $3.5M add-on. PROCONEX was marketing gas flow instrumentation to natural gas producers. Managed complex fabrication, logistics and installation of Emerson technology for 16 stations. Exceeding customer expectations led to millions in additional work.
Delivered six complex flow measurement projects under severe deadline. Customer had flow measurement project with tight, 30-day deadline. Met personally with hardware vendors and contractors to arrange expedited delivery and installation that normally took 12 weeks. $500K project was completed on-time and within budget.
Launched new instrumentation maintenance initiative. Company landed an order for new maintenance programs at 180 locations. Took the lead in managing planning, installation, change orders and creation of reports requested by customer. Completed project on-time and on-budget.

Sales Project Manager, SP Scientific, 2003-2012. Managed $15M in capital projects and contracts annually for Process Equipment Div. focused on sales & installation of cGMP production freeze dryers for pharmaceutical and life sciences accounts. Many contributions in business development, contract negotiations and profit improvement. Accomplishments:
Led production freezer dyer assembly & installation project in India. SP Scientific landed $12M production freeze dryer and auto loading equipment order from Hospira India. Hosted teams from Germany and India for final testing and inspection. Equipment was successfully installed and validated, leading to a second large Hospira India order.
Managed large-scale production freeze dryer project. SP Scientific won a $9M contract to design and build six production freeze dryers, requiring 75% of company resources for nearly a year. Played key role in coordinating scheduling, engineering, fabrication, billing and customer communications. Project completed on schedule.
Named company’s first-ever Project Manager. SP Scientific had always used sales reps for customer engagement during project execution. Defined a new role as Project Manager (PM) to free-up sales talent and provide improved project monitoring and control. Broke new ground as a PM, providing better all-around support.
Sales Manager & Account Manager, Ionics, Inc., 1998-2003. Managed a small sales team and increased sales of WFI, USP and other high purity water systems/components to pharmaceutical and laboratory accounts by 300%.
Tripled sales as Sales Manager. After being acquired by a multi-national water technology and service company led sales planning and worked closely with corporate engineering and marketing to leverage our existing customer base with the Ionics portfolio. Produced a 300% top line sales increase.

Gained entry into Army Corps of Engineers Certification Program. BH Laboratories, a provider of analytical services to industrial & municipal waste treatment plants wanted to expand into the Federal market.
