Duties
Responsible for the project management relating to the refurbishment of two work over rigs.
Coordinated dismantling, cataloguing all parts and managed the logistics to return to workshop in Kuwait City
Managed and coordinated CAT4 Inspection, assessment of the equipment and work set up required to refurbish to operational condition
Supervised and led all mechanical engineering disciplines including NDT-Testing, sandblasting, painting, refurbishment of all rotating parts & equipment as draw-work include Kelly-drive, hook, swivel, main steel-structure, sub-frame, water-table, crown sheaves calibration, mud / slurry pumps, BOP, accumulator units, and mud/fluid tanks.
Liaised with procurement to source parts and materials and identify and recruit appropriate subcontractors for both rig’s.

Dung Quat refinery has a capacity of 6.5 million tons of crude oil annually, or 140 thousand barrels per day (22 103 m3/d). In addition to fuels, the refinery will also produce petro-chemical products. The complex comprises of Overall Refinery Process, Utility and Offsites Facilities, Crude Tank Farm and Flare Area, Product Tank Farm and Seawater intake, Waste Water and Crude Oil Pipelines.
Duties
Designed and published entire scope of works including all drawings and project documentation for 8 Pcs Pacific Class 375ft oilrigs for a Russian client, Rig cost estimate US$320m each.
Provided operational and technical support to many Oil and Gas Companies with mechanical engineering solutions from initiation to delivery and commissioning.
Responsible for the management and direction of an engineering team (60) developing the team and delivering on business objectives in IPE, mechanical, steel calculation, and career development/training.
