Ms. Damron has over 24 years of business management/supervisory experience including but not limited to: supervision of employees including office/field service crews/dispatch, performance of human resources functions, preparation of employment/business taxes, AP/AR, implementation of new departments, P&L/budgeting, purchasing, sales, manufacturing/design, inventory, warranty/claims administration, etc.
For 18 years, she has performed investigations of fires and explosions. These investigations have represented owners, tenants, insurance companies, SIU’s, attorneys, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, private parties, etc. She has conducted multi-party examinations, performed research and forensic testing, interviews, and provides expert witness testimony and support in criminal, civil and insurance fraud cases. Her specialties include extensive experience in vehicle/heavy farm equipment fires, chimney/flue, firebox/wood stove fires, arson, and product defect/liability and subrogation potential, in claim amounts exceeding 25 million dollars.
For several years, she has performed covert surveillance, SIU, and various other private investigations in criminal, domestic, and civil matters. These investigations include: Workers Compensation, auto-injury, life insurance fraud, vehicle accident scene reconstruction, missing persons, witness location, pre-employment/business background, courthouse, financial, social networking/criminal document searches, GPS tracking, child custody, theft, burglary, vandalism, neighborhood canvas, etc. She has security officer/agent experience as well in a supervisory capacity and has been formally trained in tactical defense, pat-downs, and fugitive recovery.
Her background of 10 years co-operating a structural engineering firm, and education in mechanical engineering, has been applied in discerning pre-fire conditions, and applying scene safety and business operation expertise. She has overseen contractor repairs involving flooding, hail, wind, collapse, rot, insect damage, mold, ADA compliance, truss failure, and foundation repairs. This includes installation of piers, mud-jacking, structural I-beams, aerial-topography/weather data compilation, and vehicle/other impact. She also has extensive expertise in proofing engineering reports/preparation for deposition, drafting, surveying and providing structural engineering assistance in the field.
She has previous work/educational experience as a: Firefighter/EMT, city fireworks display technician, and is experienced with surveillance of casino games and insurance terminology. In addition, she has over 6 years total work/educational experience including: Hazardous Materials Technician/Machinist for the military aircraft facility McDonnell Douglas (Boeing) and Telesis Controls, where she has performed welding (MIG, TIG, Arc), operation of: press brakes, CNC milling machines, steel rollers, shears, saws, grinders, optical pattern burners, torches, lathes calipers, micrometers and various other gauging equipment, coil fed die set, pin stampers, paint booths, commercial drills, forklifts, overhead cranes, etc. This fabrication/assembly was performed from interpreting fabrication/welding blueprints.
She typically builds computers and installs networking herself (installation, maintenance and troubleshooting). This encompasses a vast experience with a wide variety of computer software, operating systems and hardware, including but not limited to: MS Office, Oracle/other database programs, accounting/payroll, drafting, custom software, operating systems, etc.
Amy conducts investigations, security, and quality control/manufacturing with an ethical, legal, pro-active and cost-conscious approach. She enjoys providing entertaining presentations/training to her wide variety of liaisons; public, private, and insurance industry. She actively participates in claims/professional organizations and maintains good rapport and communication with public officials and legal counsel on cases and facilities in the field. She is actively seeking her instructor certifications, additional private investigator’s licenses and intends to complete her engineering degree in the very near future. A long-term goal is to author a novel or write papers on forensics and/or failure analysis.
