MOTIVATION
My highest qualification is the Diploma in CPMDMF (Certificate Programme in Management Development for Municipal Finance Masters in Business Administration) which was obtained from Wits Business School. Completed Basic Occupational and Health and Safety Certificate with the University of Pretoria. I also completed N6 Management Assistant course with Sedibeng College. I have taken keen interest into Human Resources Management discipline focusing on human capital development (training), individual performance management, recruitment and selection and occupational health and safety.
My computer skills include: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint-Mail and Internet. Beside the work experience I also have the following skills, analytical, financial management, planning and organizing skills, problem solving skills, communication and negotiation skills, presentation, inter-personal relations, project planning, decision making, report writing and conflict management. Majority of these skills developed when I was doing the CPMD training and continued to grow through my work experience.
I have been working in the municipal sector since 2010 and it provided me with the opportunity to learn the municipal environment and be exposed to different unit within Corporate Services Department. I have been exposed to Human Resources Business Unit in terms of understanding and experiencing recruitment and selection duties or activities involved. Worked in the Human Capital Development Unit in terms starting from the identification of training needs, deciding on training interventions or programme to address incapacities, and formulation of Workplace Skills Plan. Gained experience in general administration from the legal department and how to follow up on cases as directed by Executive Director. I have been involved in the recording of performance assessment of managers and supervisors of the Department. The portfolio of evidence for the Executive Manager is prepared and compiled by myself for internal and external assessments. Assist the Executive Manager and team on the areas where we are behind in terms of meeting targets as stated in the SDBIP. Ensured formulation and distribution of agendas thereafter take minute for Corporate Services Departmental and Local Labor Forum meetings.
