Perform FOIAXpress case tracking and redacting software V10 and above. FOIAXpress services also include searching the FOIA database and FOIAXpress or any other current database for duplicate and previous requests to ensure that incoming requests are not duplicates and confirmation that outstanding debt does not exist for the requester.

Prepare appropriate draft correspondence to request Government coordination and review of documents; interim and final letters to FOIA requesters; and complete final processing prepare responses, coordinating with other offices as needed.

Prepare complete FOIA reviews that contain sufficient recommendations, guidance, and consolidated information for the NTSB FOIA Officer to finalize the agency FOIA decision process and resolve classification, policy, or technical issues.

Prepare documents for scanning such as unbinding, unfastening, straightening pages to ensure the capture of all information.

Prepare OCR (optical character recognition) printed text to capture the information electronically as a “PDF searchable image. The text can be searched, copied, and pasted.

Provide archival support of FOIA case files as required by the NTSB; maintain administrative files of cases from start to completion and perform file management using existing software. The NTSB will provide input guidance for processing these documents.

Develop and maintain a quality control program to ensure services are performed with commonly accepted commercial practices or in accordance with NTSB guidance and regulations where such guidance and regulations are the stricter requirement.
