Before the implementation of the control center support was dependent upon email alerts and a lot of manual vigilance.

Responsibilities:
Carrying out the analysis and research of this application and work with architects, DBAs, other technical vendors to plan out the strategy for Re-hosting.

Project: Fusion
Description: Kraft Foods (NYSE: KFT) is a global leader in branded foods and beverages with 2004 net revenues of more than $32 billion. Second largest food and Beverage Company in the world headquartered in North America, marketing many popular brands in more than 155 countries including Kool-Aid, Tang, Toblerone etc. This project involved development and testing of the Electronic Data Interchange(EDI) Gateway Interface Maps, jobs and batch processes designed and developed for new roll outs as part of the project Fusion for integration of trading partners in Europe, Latin America. EDI Gateway converts application system data into a standard format also vice versa (universally accepted format for exchange of business documents, standards like EDI, EDIFACT, ANSI X12 messages) and sends messages to and receives messages from Trading Partners. The data from trading partner (Eg: Purchase Order) is received by cyclone via AS2 connections and the data from UNIX box is FTPed to mainframe which will be further processed by WDI to translate the data into application specific format (SAP application – Order Management to process the order).
Responsibilities:
Assigned to work on the Electronic Data Interchange [EDI] Gateway Development project for our client Kraft Foods North America at offshore development center.
To centralize the entire EDI transactions for Kraft Foods, reducing the over-all time involved in
processing the various messages and thereby reducing the costs increasing supply chain flexibility.
To handle all Electronic Data Interchange Maps, Application Data Formats, batch processing
associated within development of Kraft’s Global Business to Business Processing.
