Web server vulnerability remediation
Identified and addressed web security vulnerabilities affecting production, certification, test and dev environments through the use of Qualys and Nessus scan reports. Took inventory of current Operating Systems, software versions and programming languages such as PHP and Apache running across all our websites and data stores and ensured that the team applied any recommended patches, installed the necessary upgrades, or by judiciously retiring any servers prone to malware attacks.
California Tax Withholding
To migrate the legacy tool using MS Access into an external web app and to engineer an algorithm for the system to withhold a certain percentage of taxes above the suggested exempt amount. This solution would broadly impact all medical activities not only conducted in California but across any US state. In addition, all operational areas such as check issuance, fee-for-service limits, and utilization thresholds would benefit from this process improvement.
Chat Functionality
To increase client service level and to reduce the resource overhead by providing a chat feature where end users could interact with coordinators via the web portal or mobile devices.
