“Wireless Black box and GPS tracking for accidental monitoring of vehicles”

An innovative wireless black box using MEMS accelerometer and GPS tracking system has been developed for motorcycle accidental monitoring. The system can detect type of accident (linear and nonlinear fall) from accelerometer signal using threshold algorithm, posture after crashing of motorcycle and GPS ground speed. After accident is detected, short alarm massage data (alarm massage and position of accident) will be sent via GSM network. The test results show that it can detect linear fall, non-linear fall and normal ride with no false alarm

Optical fibers have bandwidth of around 50Tbps but still the user requirement is in Mbps range only. Objective of my project is to reduce the effects of impairments with effective spectrum allocation in flexible optical networks. Now I am pursuing my project to reduce energy consumption with less impairment effects to achieve Green way communication.

Achievements

• Received Gold medals for securing Ist rank in 3rd, 2nd,1st PG semester exams respectively.

• Secured 2nd place in fourth and sixth semester UG semester exams respectively.

• Secured 1st rank in M.E.communication systems department all over tamilnadu conducted by Anna university examination (2014-2016).
