PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Aerofoam Industries, Lake Elsinore California Jul 2017 to Present

Contracted for a complete company turnaround in the aerospace cabin interiors industry. The company was in dire condition with most all customers. Employees did not want to pick up the phone as they had no quick or accurate answers to communicate. The company was behind schedule due to the overwhelmed management team, lack of planning, poor communications, onboarding of work, inferior MRP utilization and late execution from start to finish. The lack of management metrics forced the team to drive while blind. To resolve these issues, I introduced systems and process controls to ensure severely needed improvements within the first few weeks of my initial assessment. Secondarily, I reviewed and updated all MRP system item masters, bills of materials, routings, lead-times, supply base and report generation. I created daily, weekly and monthly metrics to allow company ownership to understand the issues and required solutions. Within the first five months of my leadership, the company realized the highest output levels ever with record profitability and a complete transformation in performance with all customers. They were so great that new multi-million dollar opportunities were acquired, on-boarded, engineered, tooled and completed with extremely short lead-times. The new norm in the company is quick turnaround of short fuse demand and agile manufacturing capabilities to run smaller lot sizes. This affords the company premium pricing, expedite dollars and real time communication with all customers. Customer confidence is at an all-time high.
