The past careers that I have held have involved all aspects in the consumer lending industry (ie loan origination, cutting checks, proofing work from the dealers, collections, credit checks), lease-rent to own work. Dealing directly with the Louisiana DMV office, maintained customer service, scheduling of appointments, solving customer issues. Using many different computer programs including the AS400 program.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Customer Service Representative/ Tax Preparer

H and R Block - Lake Charles-Youngsville, LA - December 1998 to Present

Answer phones, greet clients, set appointments, assistance clients with anything possible. Call clients and remind them of appointments. Also calling clients to "Thank them and offer other services." Filed all documents, cashiering, stocking and maintaining the cleanliness of the office. Conduct tax interviews with clients to determine their best return I could provide, as well as offering products and advice what I felt would benefit the client.

Responsibilities

Stripping/breaking down deals, preparing paperwork to send to the lenders for funding, processing title work to send to the state, working with lenders and F&I to get whatever is needed for the dealership to be funded. Scanning all deals, handling rejects from the state, deposits, cutting payoff checks for trade in’s and helping with incoming stock. Making copies when needed and filing. Working with other states to register out of state customers. Preparing deposits.
