Worked with German engineers to design and build a custom machine for the Clear Cornea Project, an eye surgery for cataracts. Designed and manufactured blade shapes, grinding parts, sharpening tools and packaging. Performed on-site trials with physicians and surgeons. Set up grinders and machinery, worked closely with operators and assisted engineering in building custom heat treat furnace for reel-to-reel processing.
