Customer Account and Activity management system (CAAMS) is an application where the customer account is created and by which we can create Policies through various application. Underwriting Workstation is used by the Underwriters to view the policy information and to save his comments & Decision based on the Policy information

The purpose of this initiative is to implement underwriter workstation which eliminates duplicate data entry, provide better access to account reviews, push data to central Underwriting view, improve underwriting work environment, create role based views in accessing information and also improve analytical capability. The Current Account Review Form will be replaced by UW Workstation. User Interface Design and User experience will be the primary focus area.

Roles and responsibilities

Development Projects:

Involved in Analysis, Technical Design Document preparation, Unit Test case preparation and Bug fixing.

Execute all the Unit Test cases as planned for reduction of defects before QA handoff.

Coordination of UI team and offshore development team and onsite team.

Interact with different client expert for getting clarifications on various issues.

Getting knowledge transition from client team for more applications which are getting added to the production support.

Proactive monitoring of the Production boxes and initimate the team incase of any service interruptions.

Constant improvisation in the existing code and queries that results in the performance of the application.

Testing Projects:

QA resource for a Sprint team (Agile methodology) and currently owning all QA activities for a sprint team which includes Requirement Analysis, Test Design and Execution for a distributed located SCRUM team.

Requirements Analysis which includes analyze requirements, identify discrepancies, Traceability Matrices and mapping them in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

Estimation of testing efforts which includes, Preparation of Testing estimates per release and tracking estimated v/s actual efforts via Rally tool till the Project completion.

Test Design which includes identification of test scenarios and prepare test cases.

Developed Selenium Automation Framework from the scratch using c#. Used Specflow and SpecRunner and POM(Page Object Model)

Test Execution which includes Browser Compatibility Testing, User acceptance Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Mobile Testing SITECORE (Content Management Tool) tool Testing

Defect Management is done using Rally and timely issue escalation and resolution with Developers.

Good coordination with Solution Designers as well as developers and Interact with product owners located at onsite for requirement and business clarifications.

Good Interaction with onsite product owner and responsible in providing demo for every sprint for achieving successful delivery/acceptance of the user stories.

Provide demo/support/walkthrough the business teams on using the application tool for their business needs.

As part of Status Reporting, preparing day to day Status reports and sending it to the respective stake holders on time. Maintain a good graph in product quality, and prevent defect leakages to higher environment.

Reviewing the deliverables like Test Plan, Test cases and Defects and delegating tasks.

As part of process, preparing Higher Environment Defect Leakage, Rejected Defect Analysis documents for every Release and provide the report to client.

Support PROD deployment call as and when required.
