Job Profile: Working for US Export Documentation (US Southeast documentation)

Coordinate with customers for any queries with regards to their bill of ladings, payments and rating, to send reminders to customers for Shipping Instructions based on the Documentation cut off time.

Prepare bills of lading; check items to be shipped against shipping instructions to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.

To check if free time is applicable per the customer’s contract with the company.

To update Database for daily work done (BL manifestation, Correction and Releasing), Compile data about pending shipments and keep a follow up to update the necessary details for completion.

Attending to customer queries and Booking requests until departure of vessel.

Receive, evaluate and administer update requests from Customer

Communicate with Customers in case of exception handling of Shipments, Advise transhipment status to customer, if requested.

Clean up system after vessel departure i.e. tallying booking in system with the port onboard report.
