RELEVANT ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
Long vacation field mapping at Igarra, Edo State 2014
Geologic mapping of the Basement complex terrain and sedimentary deposits around Igarra, Edo State; Lateral and vertical relationships of the sedimentary deposits was examined as well as the structural and tectonic evolution of the igneous and metamorphic facies in the study area. Geologic field work ranging through Lokoja formation, Obajana Cement Factory, Jakura Marble, Odagbo coal mine, NIOMCO iron ore Itakpe all in Kogi State.
Independent Mapping Exercise at Are-Ekiti, Ekiti State 2014
Lithological units in the study area as well as their Structural and Textural fingerprints were mapped. Geologic boundaries between the various litho-petrologic units were mapped out.
Research 2014
BSc. Thesis: Geophysical Survey for Groundwater Potential Evaluation of Ekiti State University Campus, Ado Ekiti, (A portion behind the Faculty of Science); I evaluated with the use of Very Low Frequency Electromagnetic method as a reconnaissance survey, and Vertical Electrical Sounding was used as a detailed method to probe at depth potential areas of potable groundwater.
