Summary

My 17 years of institutional finance experience includes trading, operations, project management ($50K- $85M budgets), due diligence, risk, compliance, treasury, technology, accounting, business analysis, data management and more. The last 11 years has been solely dedicated to project management, where I have been leading steering committee meetings with senior executives at some of the largest financial services organizations in North America. One of my last projects involved the stand up of Sikorsky Aircraft prior to the Lockheed Martin acquisition. A few of my responsibilities have included development of project plans, leading work breakdown structure meetings, budget control, reporting project status/project performance, project evaluation while creating steering decks, status reports, and numerous other project deliverables. I have lead teams with as many as 35-75 highly talented resources. I have a specific background applying the PMI’s PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) to enterprise technology projects. Lately I have used a blend of both Agile and the PMI's methods, this approach of applying iterative work and detailed planning have been critical success factors. My capital markets experience has allowed me to work in top tier hedge funds, mutual funds, fund administrators, management consulting firms and software companies while consulting for and applying best practices in some of the largest asset managers, prime brokers, investment banks and Fortune 50 multi-national conglomerates. My last 5 years have dealt solely with highest priority corporate projects where I have delivered real time project metric reporting documentation and advised executive steering groups in project priority as well as in accordance with dynamic value driven/high growth/forward looking/directive strategies.
