Witness laboratory testing of mock-ups to ensure compliance with façade specification and evaluate workmanship before commencement of work on site.

Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives. Make certain that client’s needs are met as the project evolves.

Coordinate with façade subcontractors on site to ensure that all activities are completed on time and in accordance with project specification and approved drawings. And project will be completed within budget and timely manner with any HSE violation.

Coordinate with all subcontractors and Multiplex Site Engineer with regards to interfacing of façade works to other trade to ensure no problem occurs during installation and it will be completed on time.

Responsible for monitoring of subcontractor materials and other resources at site to ensure that appropriate resources is available to meet the construction program.

Carry out of technical audit of façade subcontractor’s detailed drawing and material submittal including review of structural and thermal calculation to ensure it is in accordance with project standard for consultant approval.

Carry out review of façade subcontractor installation methodology (method statement) for consultant approval prior to project start-up.

Carry out quality audit of façade subcontractor manufacturing facilities to ensure that materials are being produced to the relevant quality standard regularly.

Prepare reports, measure the works for certification and report to Project Manager or immediate supervisor at regular intervals on the progress of works.

Keep records of daily deliveries of materials and records of daily installation at site.

Ensure by careful planning and decision with the subcontractor that all design information is issued in sufficient time to avoid claims. Ensure that any design discrepancy found in subcontractor’s shop drawing against the IFC drawings and are raised through RFI (request for information)

Act as prime point of contact for all façade related issue including progress reporting, safety, quality control and design issue. Build a trusted relationship with the consultant and established a good working relationship with the subcontractor.

Monitor installation activities and ensure that it is compliance with project specification and approved design. Ensure that all materials to be installed have obtained approval from the consultant and client. Ensure that all project samples and mock-up obtained approval.

Ensure that the quality of workmanship and materials to be used will be implemented properly.

Act as liaison between MPX and sub-contractors management to ensure adequate supply of resources and to ensure that all materials will be delivered on time.

Evaluate selects and adopt construction management and control techniques, procedures and criteria to suit job tasks and implement solutions to problems encountered.

Carry out final review of façade as built drawing and O & M manuals.
