1-Kuwait Port Authority as Financial consultant for the General Manager From May 2015 until End of November 2017.

Responsibilities

Propose draft plans to formulate financial policies and achieve objectives.

Assist in setting strategies and future plans for the Authority to increase revenues and decrease costs and expenses

Prepare budget draft according to set rules.

Review and Prepare balance sheet

Offer financial consultations and prepare financial studies that assist the General Manager and the Board of Directors in decision making process.

Assess the financial position on a monthly basis including financial statements.

Assist the Tenders Department with financial terms and ensure full compliance with State Audit Burea Regulations.

Coordinate with State Audit Bureau and Financial Department to address all notes.

Coordinate between Internal Audit and the the Financial Department as to review of periodic reports and put all notes into effect to ensure efficacy of internal audit.

Follow up the monthly reports from the Financial Department and work on data analysis to support timely decision making from the higher management.

Ensure that all financial transactions are posted According to the international rules and standards.

Internal control over the documentary cycle of financial dept. to ensure that all procedures and steps involved conform to international standards.
