Responsibilities:

Oracle DBA for the LSH Application Database

Monitor and manage database performance

Upgraded RDBMS from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4

Oracle DBA for the ARISg Production system

Upgrade RDBMS from 10g to 12c as per new Application requirements

Worked on initial configuration of DB as per System Specifications which includes setting parameters, creation and management of tablespaces, users, profiles, roles, privileges, redo logs etc.

Migrated data from RDBMS 10g to 12c using expdp and impdp

Responsibilities:

Creation of MSR (Monthly Status Report) Database and Automation: Set-up the MSR database using Oracle 11g, as part of an internal initiative at Process Improvement. Changed MSR creation process from manual Excel work to automated process using PL/SQL. I have worked extensively with the managers in understanding the manual process and replicating the process in the Database thus reducing significant manual effort. The new improved process of creating monthly status report using PL/SQL has not only reduced ~70% of the overall effort spent on the task but also has improved the accuracy of the data to 100%. It also saved internal cost of TCS ~$8900 per year. Also got certificate of appreciation for the same.
