* Wickes Lumber - Doraville, Ga. 1984 - 1988, Operations Manager, Responsible for the lumber yard and warehouse along with all personnel, also oversaw dispatch of all truck deliveries to ensure on time deliveries.
*ABC Supply Company - Marietta, Ga. 1988 - 1995, Branch Manager, Responsible for the daily operations of the center, insure that the center remained profitable. Responsible for yearly budget and operating within the budget. Responsible for all purchasing and approval of all expenses for the center. Also responsible for keeping all delivery trucks in compliance with FCC and Georgia DOT standards.
* Caraustar Industries - Austell, Ga. 1995 - present, Production Supervisor Austell Mill #1 and Austell Mill #2.
Responsible for two paper machines and the crews working in the mills. Duties include scheduling crews for both mills as well as enforcing company policies, Safety policies and making sure that associates are following policies and procedures as well as disciplinary actions when needed. Helping associates with trouble shooting problems on the machines, Beater Room, Drying issues and issues at the sheeter (mill 1) or rewinder (mill 2)
Also oversee that we stay on order and on schedule on all orders. Ensure that paper is made to the specifications of the customers. Oversee housekeeping in each mill.
I started working at Caraustar Industries in December 1995, I started as a finisher on the front end at Mill 2,
in September 1996 I earned full finisher status, in April 2001 - promoted to Assistant BackTender, January 2004- Promoted to Backtender, December 2006 - Promoted to MachineTender and Step up Supervisor.
March 2011 - Promoted to Production Supervisor at Mill 2
November 2013 - Promoted to Production Supervisor at Mill 1 and Mill 2.
I have extensive knowledge of the Counterflow machine and a 5 table FC former machine
I have 7+ years experience running a paper machine and 5 years experience as a Step up Supervisor and over 6 years as a full time Production Supervisor and the last 3 years as a Production Supervisor at Austell Mill 1 and Mill 2.
