Academic Projects

Optimization of Ketene plant with variation in feed rate

Produced Aspen Plus sequential module to optimize unit operation (10% feed variation) at Ketene plant.

Maximized the profit of Ketene plant by optimizing the PFR reactor and increasing the mass fraction of ketene & other components produced during its production.

Development of Volatile Organic Compounds recovery system

Created Aspen Plus, sequential models, to optimize VOC recovery system for maintaining the emissions at PEL

Lowered the emissions of recovery system by lowering vapor pressure and used the condensing method to obtain valuable products from the Compounds and done an economic analysis on different possible models to attain high profit.

Simulation Model for flare gas recovery system

Developed a Simulation model for Flare gas recovery system

Developed dehydration column for the removal of water from the gas and later used distillation column for the separation of methane gas and Y-grade NGLs from the Associated gas.

Certification

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Process Instrumentation and Control (Kansas University)

Process Control and Advanced Control Strategies (Kansas University)

Undergone 45 days of Industrial training in Polmon Instruments on Fundamentals of Automation using DCS, PLC and SCADA systems.
