Finance: Presented to multiple credit rating agencies and achieved two upgrades obtaining a Moody’s A3 and a Fitch A rating as one of only three private entities gaining an upgrade distinction nationally in 2010. Structured financings of over $400M in turnkey projects developing capital strategies utilizing taxable and tax-exempt bond financing, developer lease/leaseback, use of tax credit programs, and several commercial loans in Europe and securitized internal business entity in Asia. Developed new banking structure for direct student loan origination of $130M annually through a committed resale agreement which generated over $4.5M annually in net profit. Treasury: Developed recommendations for Board policies for intermediate and long term financial investments based upon asset allocation correlation modeling within investment classes. Restructured manager profiles to asset class to consistently exceed performance benchmarks and achieve a top quartile of annual financial returns over the past five years. International: Crafted business strategy developing a Wholly Owned Foreign Entity (WOFE) established as an operating company for Joint Venture relationships in China. Formalized the business activities and operations in 3 locations in China; 2 locations in Thailand; Geneva, Switzerland; Vienna, Austria; and Leiden, The Netherlands. Created partnership agreements to operate in Osaka, Japan and Guadalajara, Mexico. Initiated the feasibility studies to expand operations into Cypress, Egypt and India.

Real Estate Development: Created business development plan for the acquisition of a 300,000 sq. ft property with financing structure & facility renovations establishing a conference center/hotel. Responsible for the feasibility study, negotiated property transfer with Federal GSA as well as assembling local development team for the restoration of the historically significant “Old Post Office and Custom House” creating a significant leadership project in the revitalization process of downtown St. Louis. Centralized real estate leasing and created new physical branding strategies. Turnaround: Involved with 2 financially challenged organizations developing a sustainable long range financial turnaround plan and implemented new management techniques to strengthen its financial resources. On institution achieved a S&P credit rating of A- within five years and the other successfully implemented a SACS reaffirmation allowing the development of 12 new academic programs over a three-year period.
