Northwell Health is New York State’s largest health care provider and private employer with over 56,000 employees. While at Northwell Health I have been part of the Ambulatory Partners Group working on the OTTR Transplant Patient Management System Implementation project within the Northwell Health PMO Group. During this time I have led the project team in the Initialization and Planning Phases coordinating meetings and successfully documenting all processes.

Fidelis Care - New York, NY

Project Manager III (12/2015 – 12/2017)

Fidelis Care is non-profit Healthcare Insurance provider with over 1.5 million members. For 2 years I was part of the Fidelis Care PMO Group with over 35 members, successfully working on a wide variety of projects of all types and sizes.

At Fidelis managed and implemented 4 projects: Payment Gateway Payspan Project, Business Intelligence Finance & Claims Dashboards, Greenplum Server Upgrade, BI Data Analytics Strategy.

Payspan project involved replacing 3 legacy applications and the integration of 8 internal interfaces with the Payspan Product Suite, to handle the fall membership enrollment for our 1.5 million Health Insurance customers. The Payspan project was a very challenging project encompassing an outside vendor and multiple teams spread across the entire Fidelis Care organization.

During the BI Data Analytics project we performed interviews across the entire organization, working with the Knowledgent Consulting Group to define the company’s Current State and ultimately developing the Future State Roadmap for the executive team. This project is a long term cultural initiative being embraced company-wide, as we move towards a data-centric environment

Responsible for creating all required project documents for the Payspan project, running the Daily Standups, Weekly Status Meeting and Business Readiness Team meetings. Created Project Document from the Charter, to the Project Plan and finishing with the Deployment Plans.

Jewish Home and Hospital Lifecare Systems - New York, NY

Project Manager (08/2008 – 1/2016)

JHL is a 1600 bed muti-campus organization, with over 3000 employees, which covers a variety of programs ranging from Skilled Nursing to Homecare. At JHL we deployed a new EMR suite of software products which included the HealthMEDX Vision and Pulse Physician OE Billing software.

Led the implementation of the Pulse software from start to finish successfully building 6 separate HL7 Interfaces between Pulse, our Lab & Radiology vendors and our internal applications.

Coordinated and scheduled all user training for JHL with Pulse. I have performed numerous Business Gap Analysis for software evaluations and selections.

Provided support on over 10 different applications, the largest being the ADP HRMS/Payroll systems and the Pulse and Progresa Healthcare systems. For all software release of the applications I support I have performed product installs, managed UATs and driving successful implementations. This work covered a wide variety of application types from Server installs to Desktops to laptop clients.

Migrated the ADP HRMS/Payroll systems up multiple versions. We reduced the number of custom reports from over 2000 to 165 and successfully converted these reports to work under the new data structure in the newest ADP version.

At FDC I supported multiple roles within our software development group and wore a number of hats. I have been the Project Manager of numerous small, medium and large multimillion dollar projects.

Held the dual-role of Application Architect, lending expertise in design and building of leading edge corporate level applications, for our Leasing Department and the Merchant Processing Sales Group.

Worked with the business users to help identify opportunities where good software solutions will help to make a huge difference in the way that we do business. Created BRD’s, HLD’s and DDD’s and for individual groups, as well as compiled similar documents across many groups and platforms.

At TheraCare I managed the development group in the implementation and support of numerous core business applications. Primarily, the SunGard IEPplus Case Tracking and Billing software and the ADP Human Resource Management System.

Performed software vendor comparisons and analysis to determine the proper software products to purchase and deploy. During the SunGard software implementation, we successfully converted data from three legacy systems, consolidating onto the new platform. Scheduled and trained over 200 users and created SOP’s in order to support our 12 branches across the New York metropolitan area.

Responsible for the Business Process Analysis and correction of many of the weaker business operation practices at TheraCare.

I worked on several major projects for First Data Merchant Services, which encompassed the Emerald Product Suite. The first application in this suite of products was the Emerald Remote Processing system. This system provided over six hundred sales representatives with the ability to remotely enter and submit merchant credit card processing applications.

The Emerald Remote application allows Account Executives to sell, process, equip and immediately activate merchants during a single visit to a merchant location. This patented, award winning product, provided First Data Merchant Services with a competitive advantage in the card services marketplace and helped them to become number one in the in card processing industry.
