Recruitment & Selection

Resource planning and budgeting for the year

Gathering requirement for manpower from various department heads, preparation of detailed job specifications, candidate specifications.

Sourcing candidates from job portals, employee referral programs, social networking sites, paper advertisements, walk-ins, through consultancies, campus Interviews, head hunting and by creating internal bench strength through a program called “Academy”

Involved in end-to-end recruitment process

Post Recruitment Activities:

Joining formalities of the candidates, collection and verification of the documents

Responsible for conducting orientation programs for the new employees.

Managing and maintaining paper work like appointment letters and probation confirmation of employees

Performance Appraisal

Initiate, coordinate & close the annual performance appraisals discussions with respective line managers

Organizing, formulation & implementation of annual increment in line with the budget

Managing appraisal process across all the levels

Annual review of senior employees & facilitating internal promotions and increments with respective department heads.

Responsible for assessing employee potential and suggesting growth path within the team, salary revisions and analysis during and after appraisals.

Employee Relationship

Reviewing and implementing policy & procedural changes to enable smooth functioning of operations and growth of employees

Handling employee separation activities and closure of employee files.

Handling employee grievances, counselling of employees and initiation of disciplinary actions wherever required.

Conducting exit interview, analysing attrition data and discussing with respective heads to reduce attrition.

Handling employee queries on policies, compensation etc.

Payroll & Compensation

Collating attendance from various departments.

Processing the pay requests, tax workings and calculations every month.

Preparation of bank transfer statements.

Generating Payslips.

Preparation Full and Final Settlements, Gratuity settlement and PF closures.

Income Tax

Based on the declaration given by employees, work out monthly income tax dues and incorporating the same in the payroll.

Collecting reimbursement bills, investment proof documents etc

Issuing Form 16 & Form 16A

Statutory Compliances

Liaison with government departments like PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, Labour and maintaining relevant records.

Preparation and online/manual filing of statutory returns for PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Service Tax etc.

Coordinating for PF withdrawals, Transfer in, Transfer out etc. and Gratuity claims.

Monthly returns, half yearly returns, annual returns and maintaining all statutory files

Preparation of data sheets for generating the annual Actuary reports.

Employee Welfare & Other Activities

Group Mediclaim/Personal insurance related processing & coordinating with the Insurance agents

Taking care of mediclaim requests from employees.

Coordinating training programs for technical and soft skills enhancement
