DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Promote Occupational Health and Safety within the organization and develop safer and healthier ways of working.

Inspect workplaces and post-tensioning equipment, such as stressing and grouting machines, to ensure they meet safety regulations and to identify hazards and risks.

Ensure that workplaces conform to organizational procedures and safety standards work with engineers and other professionals to ensure the safety of work sites and work practices.

Ensure personal protective equipment (such as hearing protection, dust masks, safety glasses, footwear and safety helmets), is being used in workplaces according to regulations.

Ensure dangerous materials are correctly stored and providing SDS in safety bulletin board.

Record and report hazards, accidents, injuries, near misses and health issues within the workplace.

Enforce company policy, rules and regulations.

Conduct toolbox meetings and regularly prior to work start.

Conduct safety induction/orientation for new employees.

Conduct safety training and coaching every month.

Ensure those monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, body harnesses and first aid kits are carried out.
