The residency program that I joined
During the first year (July 2004-June 2005) the training syllabus included mainly: medical physics, radiological anatomy, radiographic positioning, basic procedures, IVU, CT scan, Ultrasound and reporting of plain films.
The next three years (July 2005-July 2008) concentrated on interpretation of MRI, CT scan, Mammogram and Colored Doppler Ultrasound.
Teaching Experience
As a senior resident in the third and fourth year of my residency I participated in the teaching of the fifth year medical students during their two weeks rotation in the Radiology department, and in teaching junior registrars and radiographers.

(King Abdullah University Hospital 680 beds in all specialties.
The department of Radiology at King Abdullah University Hospital runs four-year residency training program.
It has 1.5 Tesla Toshiba MRI (Excel pianissimo), two spiral CT scanners (Toshiba), four modern Ultrasound machines (ATL-HD 1500 SonoCT), three Digital Fluoroscopic units (Toshiba), one Angiographic Lab.(Philips), X-ray Bone Densitometry (Lunar) and many rooms for routine plain films and IVU. The Nuclear medicine is a separate department and contains two Gamma Cameras.
All these units are connected to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
