Throttle position sensor
(Reel to reel Stamping, Bending & loose Core
Molding )
Project Details : A Throttle position sensor (TPS) is a sensor used to monitor the throttle position of a vehicle. Tool specification : Ten stage progressive tool & Five stage Bending Tool - punches and dies are made of carbide, tool precision within three micron.
(600 strokes per minute) .
Mold specification : 4 cavity mold with hot runner system, side core are actuated by hydraulic cylinders.
Role :Co-ordinating with Designing and manufacturing the tools, Trial and trouble shooting the process.
Skills Used : Mold and tool concept design, Mold assembly, Stamping tool assembly and trial,
