My responsibilities at Reliable were to process customer orders which were received via a shared email address with my colleague which we had to make priority. I also received orders over the telephone speaking to customers, answering questions regarding products and giving prices and sending quotes. Sending orders to the warehouse on time and hitting deadlines. I had the responsibility to scan and file orders accordingly, use the franking machine to process post and send invoices.

Responsibilities Working as a receptionist/administrator my duties involve answering telephones in a polite manner, using systemone to handle patients records and book GP appointments, give out test results, this was done via the telephone and front reception face to face dealing with challenging situations daily. For the admin side we were set tasks to complete by doctors, faxing referrals, chasing results from the hospital. I was given feedback on how quick and efficient I completed them. I would always make sure all my tasks and priorities are finished by the end of shift, I always went the extra mile to make patients feel valued.

My responsibility was to undertake the ordering of stationary and other items when requested from colleagues. I and my team have maintained confidential student papers, records and set up and maintained filing systems and to provide information, support and guidance for individual course enquires for the Faculty to support the work of the senior administrator. Other duties included sending out student certificates and keeping copies filed, booking and invigilating exams and maintaining an electronic calendar for this. I offered administration support to any work from the lecturers if needed.

2010 – 2011

ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR

At Central Sussex College I worked as an assistant Administrator for six months. Some of my duties were to organize registers, put data onto an attendance system, filing important paper work and type up letters. As a team I had to deal with phone enquiries from internal and external customers. I have also supervised basic skills exams. I’ve also trained to work for the main switch board for the college answer phones directing them to the right extension.
