Duties

To meet the needs of patient care communicating continuously with operating team and other medical staff.

Maintaining and recording the order and cleanliness of the operating room as per protocol.

Assisting in ordering, storing and maintaining surgical equipment and supplies.

Identifying the patient and preparing the operating room with the surgical instruments, sterile linen and other equipments that are needed for the patient.

Ensure ANTT and proper sterilization of all surgical instruments and the sterility of operating field.

Patient preparation including cleaning, disinfecting and draping the body areas for surgery

Maintain the accurate and timely recording of the patient history and recovery chart.

Handover of the patient.
