Development of solutions and problem resolution on the Avnet North America ERP system

Became subject matter expert in the areas of Batch Invoicing, Tax Logic, Commissions feed, General Ledger feeds, Physical Count of Inventory processing. Also

Leveraged strengths in Inventory Control, Bill of Material functions, Warehousing, Customer Profile maintenance based on experience in projects and data conversions

Developed and implemented Desktop applications in MS Access including an Invoicing application that used ODBC connectivity to an Oracle Database. These skills were acquired without formal training, using help screens to learn the software development.

Testing thoroughly leading to unanticipated company revenue. In an upgrade to tax logic, thorough testing revealed a standard charge was being displayed, but not financially billed. The identification and remediation supplied a significant revenue amount that was previously not realized

Replaced complicated external system interface with basic email functions on the mainframe, thereby giving the capability of savings by retiring the system as well as making a simpler, clearer solution for the business.

When there was a resource shortage on an SAP implementation, I became an emergency developer to convert legacy data into the new SAP system. Without being an expert in either system, I was introduced to both systems, and began data mapping, and then developing data conversion with COBOL, MS Access and ABAP languages. The project implemented successfully on time.
