IT Manager 6/2008 – Present
- Manage Service Request / Delivery System for corporate and regional offices, with a staff of 10, to support 2,000 Windows laptops, 1,000 desktops, 200 Mac desktops and MacBooks. Ensure teams’ SLAs are met and reported. Direct budget as well as asset management.
- Generate reports to create usage forecast and long-term strategy. Confer monthly with IT Director/VP. Conduct performance evaluations for all team members.
- Direct Executive Support to ensure prompt support for high level members of the company. Personally, supported the CEO, CFO, CIO and CMO. Manage Level 3 Support.
- Manage and support 700 smartphones and tablets (iPhone/iPad and Android devices), including support of Office 365 and MobilePASS application. Create policies on usage.
- Evaluate and recommend desktop and laptop hardware. Current hardware includes Dell Latitude and OptiPlex series, MacBook Pro and Air, MS Surface. Maintain key contacts at Dell, Lenovo, HP, Lexmark, Insight, Connections, Verizon Wireless, CDW, SHI and others.
- Technical expertise includes: Strong knowledge of Windows 10, 8 & 7 deployment process including configuring USMT. Experience with Fresh Service and Remedy for incidents, service requests and asset management. Bit locker and Sophos Safeguard encryption. Accomplishments include:
• Created an on-site center for technical support. Decreased resolution times by 50%.
• Reviewed monthly cell phone bills to identify cost-reduction opportunities. Within one year decreased overall costs by 40%.
• Project Manager for 2,000 laptop lease return/replacements (every 3 years). Ensure laptops are returned with DOD formats and replaced with newer models with minimal impact to personnel. Hire / oversee temporary staff for larger corporate initiatives.
• Project Manager for replacement of 400 – 500 printers at corporate office incorporating proximity card print release. Dramatically reduced costs for toner and paper.

- Maintained all phases of corporate office and distribution center PCs and servers. Used Terminal Services, Citrix, SMS Remote Control and Remote Desktop to troubleshoot remote PCs on the network.
- Evaluated specific hardware and software. Created application packages, including time- saving automation of software installs including MS Office. Accomplishments include:
• On-site manager and technical lead for company-wide desktop replacement project for 2,000 PCs at headquarters and U.S. distribution centers. Led a team of consultants to all locations and replaced all desktops, migrating 50 to 100 users a day.
• In charge of OS deployment using MS Business Desktop Deployment and MDT 2008. Created / upgraded client images with Ghost software for different hardware platforms.
