The propeller clock is a linear array of light emitting diodes,rotating at high angular velocity to generate a circular screen.The synchronization of light emitting diodes, and keeping of persistence of vision & limit of resolution, we can display a clock.This propeller clock is Rotate & show the time by Analogically. In this project there are mainly two parts: rotating circuit Board & DC motor Mechanism.Inhardwareside uses controller,switches,12V AC & 5V DC Supply, LEDs, Frequency generator, ICs etc. &Softwareside uses Keil compiler and Assembly Languages.The biggest problem was the making of the hardware setup as the whole system had to be light weight, evenly balanced and yet a strong one. Even slight variation of center of mass from the axel resulted in large scale wobbling of the system.The problem of power transfer was overcome by making our own slip ring by riveting a circular conductor around the axis.
