Power Piping Company is manufacture of Supercritical boiler equipment’s like skid, 90 DEG Mitre bends, Pipe with attachment, plate formed Reducer, plate Formed pipe, Fuel pipe, Fittings. It’s a Prime sub contract company of BHEL.

Worked as a team member in Thermal Power StationProjects like Suratgarh, Lalitpur, Bara, Sikka, IB valley, New parli, Yeramarus Projects. Also have experience in Foreign Boilers like Libya, Senegal Power Stations.

Working as QA/QC Engineer in Power Piping Company, Trichy.

Completed NDT courses in LPT, MPT, RT, UT in LEVEL II.

Inward Raw Material Inspection and subcontract vendor inspection of in process, finished components and Clearance them against Standards, Test Certificates or customer specifications.

Preparation & Maintenance of QAP and Inspection Checklists and records of BHEL orders. Compiling final dossier to the Job orders completed.

IBR/BHEL coordination for Raw Material IBR Stamping, in-process Inspection & Final Inspection of Pressure/Structural parts.

Work level experience in Fabrication, Welding, and Machining & QC of Heavy Industry Fabrication. Sub Vendor Approval Process for the processes and procedure.

Under My Supervising 18 Members works in various Fabrication working like Fit-up, Welding, Grinding, Pipe Cutting, Drilling and Painting.

Maintaining Non Conformity reports (NCR) and subsequent approvals from customers

Knowledge in precision machining inspection of Boiler Components & its auxiliaries.

Material Optimization and cutting plan of the raw materials, Test Certificate, Heat No Transfer, and record maintenance for IBR / Customer Requirements.

Exposure to ISO Procedures & ISO auditing.

Duties & Responsibility’s:

Incoming materials Inspection, MTC review and Ensure correct materials are utilized in project.

Familiar with, Relevant PDO Specification, QA/QC procedure and QC plan.

Verifying copies of applicable QC Plan, QC Procedures & WPS are available at the location of work.

Ensure that all the welding work carried out as per approved procedure and plans.

Check and Record welding parameters and verifying compliance with approved WPS.

Carry out inspections for a welding joint before welding joint fit up, preheat requirement, During welding Interpass cleaning & interpass temperature, After welding 100% visual inspection.

Verifying calibration status of measuring device and test equipment.

Set up a numbering system for the welds, compile and maintain isometrics containing weld numbers and welders identification maintaining in Weld History Sheet.

Liaise with the company representative for the conduct of day-to-day quality related activities of the service contract.

Ensure fulfilment of all inspection & test requirements at all stages as per the CQP and contract requirements.

Conduct monthly meeting for welders and giving adequate training and instructions to improve the weld quality.

Presented a paper on “Energy Harnessing Device- Thermo Photo Voltaic System” in National level technical paper contest in Aagama 09 held in MIC College of technology, kanchikacherla, Andhra Pradesh.
